Eagle’s Air Rescue Vest is a compilation of innovative design and quality. The front, back, and side panels, pouches, and pack are all constructed with #1000 denier abrasion and water resistant Cordure nylon and uses SecureTack stitching throughout. There are 6 pouches to hold 40mm grenades or may be used as a compass or first aid pouch with snaps for closure. There are also 4 pouches, with silent hook for closure, to hold 2 .223 mags per pouch or a radio. We use 2 Fastex buckles for vest closure.
(Widely used by USAF “Pararescue Jumper”.)

US Air Force (USAF) Pararescue personnel assigned to Baghdad International Airport (BIAP), perform a hoist extraction of a survivor during an Urban Operations Training Exercise (UOTE) at the Maltz training site, in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.
OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM — Pararescuemen with the 301st Rescue Squadron return with a pilot after successfully rescueing him during an April 8 mission at a forward-deployed location in southern Iraq. Air Force pararescuemen, also known as PJs, are the only Department of Defense specialty specifically trained and equipped to conduct conventional or unconventional rescue operations. A PJ’s primary function is as a personnel recovery specialist, with emergency medical capabilities in humanitarian and combat environments. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Shane A. Cuomo)
