US Army (USA) Soldiers of Bravo Section, 2nd Brigade Reconnaissance Troop (BRT), wait to be extracted by a USA UH-60A Blackhawk (Black Hawk) helicopter at an alternate location after the original location came under attack with mortars and small arms fire shortly after the team was infiltrated. Bravo Section is part of the Quick Response Force (QRF) mission that responds to immediate action situations directed by the Tactical Operations Center (TOC) commander during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.
A US Army (USA) OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopter provides close air support for members of the 1-77th Armor Battalion, during Operation Rocket Man, in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.
US Army (USA) Scouts from HHC 1-77th Armor Battalion, Schweinfurt, Germany (DEU), provide perimeter security for other Scouts during local Operation Rocket Man in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. USA Scouts are armed with 5.56 mm M16A2 Automatic Rifles.
